FIREPROOF DOORS and FIREDURATION DOORS
Dear customers
As part of the continuous effort of our company to serve the modern requirements but also legal obligations for fire protection of various facilities and buildings in general, it has in its program the fire doors of the Italian company NINZ.
NINZ fireproof doors are distinguished for the perfect construction, the great resistance of the surface to any mechanical stress, the perfect finish, the complete equipment and the wide range of applications.
They are available in standard single-leaf or double-leaf sizes, for installation right or left, without the need for adjustment or additional changes.
Door leaf made of double galvanized steel, 0.8 mm thick each, with a high density of layers of stone wool which are alternated with a special sandwich, total sheet thickness of 60mm.
The same door is approved for easy installation in three different ways,
With clamps
With screws
In the sub-box (pre-installed)
Each door is prepared for the installation of a panic bar, closing mechanism, rollers, sealing rubber, stainless steel plates and floor tiles, electromagnets and control units (the ones mentioned are not included in the door, they are to order).
Certified and audited in accordance with the new European standard EN 1634-11 / Decree of 21 June 2004, which is a fundamental condition for CE marking.
The door has superior technical reliability, as it has undergone fire, mechanical stress and testing according to the new European standard EN 1634-1, which is stricter and more complicated than the UNI 9723 standard.
They are assembled with nylon protective film.
Fire doors certified by the competent bodies with EI2 60 ′ and EI2 120 ′.
Each fireproof door sold by our company is accompanied by the corresponding certificate according to the latest European standard EN 1634-1.
We have single-leaf, double-leaf, sliding, standard and non-standard in all dimensions.
The standard dimensions are available immediately as they are available in stock while the special dimensions are made to order.
Respectively, they are produced in any color ral desired by the customer but even in wood imitation.
All the necessary fireproof door accessories are available, such as metal navels, panic bars, panic locks, reversing mechanisms (arms) with arms or sliding, suspensions with integrated leaf priority, wall and floor electromagnets.
Styletech metal fire doors can also be placed in areas with high aesthetic requirements as they are made in any color of choice, have fireproof knobs in various colors (black, aluminum gray, inox) and can have a knob round on the outside instead of concrete.
Also with a special plastic coating the door can be made in wood imitation color.
Fire doors as well as fireproof glass doors are placed in areas where fire protection is required during which the study provides for fire compartments.
Such places are industrial facilities (factories, handicrafts, etc.), hotel units, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, theaters, nurseries, tuition centers, boilers, shopping malls, public places, cinemas, companies, ministries, offices .
Which doors are fireproof?
A fire door is considered a fire-resistant door (sometimes referred to as a fire protection feature) used as part of a passive fire protection system to reduce the spread of fire and smoke between individual compartments of a structure.
The fireproof door ensures and allows safe exit from the danger area.
Why are fire-resistant doors fire-resistant?
Let's start by analyzing what fire is, to conclude how fire doors perform their function.
What does fire need to spread?
Heat: the temperature must be high enough to cause ignition (one spark is enough).
Oxygen, combustible material
As soon as the heat source ignites and as long as there is enough oxygen and fuel, the fire will continue to burn.
In this way, a large amount of heat will be generated which will flow from high temperature areas to low temperature areas.
This process in turn causes the fire to spread.
How is heat transferred?
The three main methods by which heat is transferred are:
• Stimulation: the transfer of heat through materials.
When there is enough heat, it is enough to ignite fuel through other objects.
Flammable materials are more sensitive to heat transfer.
• Transfer: the transfer of heat within a liquid or gas due to their density difference.
The exhaust gas (liquid or gas) expands and becomes lighter, causing it to shift from the heavier one.
When this happens, oxygen is introduced, further stimulating the chain chemical reactions. In a closed environment, such as a confined office space, the movement of fire is likely to force the gases lower in height as the hot gases spread along ceilings and walls.
The overheating then causes the fire to rise further, but this time, carrying with it incomplete combustion products, such as exhaust gases.
• Radiation: the transfer of heat from the waves traveling to the heat is absorbed by other objects.
An example of this could be a radiator or an open fireplace that radiates on a grill or curtain.
• Immediate combustion
This is the simplest way to spread fire.
For example, a small match can easily burn paper.
The more objects that come in contact with the fire, the more likely it is that the fire will spread faster.
• Can refractory doors delay fire?
Refractory doors can delay the spread of fire.
If a fire breaks out, fire doors can play a vital role. Some models can withstand fire for up to 240 minutes.
Of course this can be achieved with proper planning and extensive experience!
Safety in refractory doors begins with their professional installation.
The ideal position to perform their basic functions follows, allowing people to evacuate quickly and safely, delaying the spread of fire and smoke.
We often talk about a fire door or a complete door set when we talk about fire doors.
This term does not only apply to the door and its frame, but to the whole "package" (eg security locks, latches, hinges, locks, etc.).
The spread of tobacco poses an even greater threat to life and property than flames.
Especially in the early stages of a fire, fire doors must be fitted with "cold smoke" seals to prevent smoke from entering around the edges of the door. Exceptions apply when smoke leakage is necessary for early detection of fire.
• Which areas of Greece do we cover with fire doors?

Single-leaf and double-leaf doors in standard dimensions are ready for delivery.
The remaining doors that are in special dimensions are delivered upon request.
